I saw this very interesting article over at adage about the new viewers that Lost is getting from the enhanced episodes or repeats that are on before the new episodes, they are basically last weeks episode but with facts at the bottom about the scene and back history of the characters or moments.

ABC has spiced up week-old episodes of “Lost” by running onscreen commentary that offers viewers more background on the action taking place and even points out a few clues to the story that might go unseen by the untrained eye.

‘Lost’ for ideas? ABC added onscreen commentary to old episodes, as well as clues to the story that may have gone unseen.

CBS, meanwhile, has run themed trivia questions and behind-the-scenes notes about production on episodes of both “Ghost Whisperer” (where the comments were called “Love Notes”) and “CSI: Miami” (”Bullet Points”).

So I thought I would pitch this to our readers have you see these episodes? and have you learnt anything new from the Lost Universe by watching them?

My good friend Doc Artz got to visit the Tempest while they were filming 4.06 “The Other Woman” and got to see the station (or WW2 bunker) being transformed for the show.

In October I had the opportunity to visit the location that doubled as the exterior of “The Tempest,” Cooper Battery, a WWII gun battery at Kualoa Ranch. The ranch serves as the location for many of the exteriors in Lost and I’ll have a couple of dozen photos for you of that area soon.

Was it really raining – or was it a special effects team helping out?

“Well, they turn it on for us – they turn on these industrial sprinklers and all of a sudden, we’ll be sitting there drenched. I remember looking up at Matthew Fox’s character, Jack, and I thought to myself, ‘This is great, this is really fun.’”

Do you think you could survive on an island like the one depicted in Lost?

“I could survive in the survivor camp. It’s a really nice camp – there are supplies and everything. It would be a definite challenge but I think that’s why everyone fell in love with the reality series Survivor. Everyone is intrigued to see how people survive in difficult circumstances.”

I saw this over at Tailsection about the ratings for this weeks episode and I saw they posted the other ratings are they were better then last weeks but not as good as the first episode was but I thought this weeks episode was really good so I thought it would score good.
