Dharma Initiative, Station 6 “The Orchid”

During the LOST panel at Comic Con they showed clips of a new Dharma Initiative orientation video. This video is for station six “The Orchid” and features a duplicating bunny and yet another name for our old friend Dr Marvin Candle.

At the beginning you can hear whispers in the background, a few things I picked out were “murder” and “January 22nd”.. but I cant be sure if that is what is being said. Also spliced in is a picture of Gerald Degroot and the Hanso Foundation building.

Jay and Jack at Comic-Con Part 1

Our friends over at Jay and Jack have put up a great videocast of the Lost panel at Comic-con 2006. Jack asks the panel whether there is a underwater hatch (which is neither confirmed nor denied) and Jay asks if Rose and Bernard work for Dharma. Near the end of the video Rachel Blake has a heated argument with the panel and storms off.

Thanks to Jay and Jack for capturing this on film for us, I cant wait to see part two.

‘Lost’ Season 3 Casting News

Lost has added Rodrigo Santoro to the cast of season 3 according to a Yahoo news article.

Show producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof remained characteristically mum on the details of the 30-year-old actor’s role, confirming the casting to TVGuide.com, but refusing to divulge whether Santoro’s alter ego will be an Other, part of a character’s flashback or a member of the off-island world.

Also discussed in the article was a few season 3 plot points and some information about the Hanso Foundation.

Cuse said the run-up to the season’s first hiatus–the show takes a 13-week break after the airing of its first six episodes–”will look a little like a miniseries.” Lindelof added, “Something happens midway through the year that will fry everybody’s brain.”

The Lost masterminds also said that they’ll be amping up the adventure elements of the show this season and will revisit the off-island world they tapped into with the season finale.

The Lost Experience, the online interactive game launched last spring to give fans clues to the island, will spill the meaning behind Hurley’s lottery numbers–4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42–which are prevalent throughout the show. Their importance will be revealed to gamers who complete the third phase of the challenge.

More Lost Toy Information

As noted before Mcfarlane Toys is coming out with a series of Lost figurines, IGN has posted some great pictures of the full set from 2006. Also announced was a “Hatch box set” with the characters standing around the hatch holding torches. I think the Charlie and Locke figures look great and I am looking forward to seeing what the box set looks like but the Jack, Kate and Hurley figures don’t look very good.
