Hard to believe a new season of Lost is about to start. It seems like yesterday that we got to see the stunning finale from the third season.. Who am I kidding, its been a brutally long wait. Lost season 4 and “The Begining of the End” start January 31st 2008 on ABC.

Lost has received a nomination for this years Golden Globes for Best Television Series - Drama. Lost, which won last years award, faces some heavy competition from Grey’s Anatomy and newcomer Heroes.

Video game publisher Ubisoft have announced a long-term worldwide licensing agreement with Touchstone Television to develop and publish a video game based on Lost.

News of the game comes a day after the announcement of a ‘Lost’ action figure series developed by MacFarlane Toys. It appears Touchstone Television and the creators of Lost are taking advantage of every merchandising opportunity available but what’s next, a ‘Lost’ board game perhaps?

“This deal is another example of how truly powerful the ‘Lost’ brand is,” said Bruce Gersh, senior vice president, business development, ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television. “We are excited to work together with Ubisoft to create a gaming experience that will allow fans to further immerse themselves into the mysteries and intrigues of the series.”
