Lost Producers Request Schedule Change

Published on April 4, 2006 in Noteworthy, ABC, Schedule, Season-3, Damon-Lindelof

Damon LindelofExecutive Producer Damon Lindelof told E!online that the producers are lobbying for schedule changes for the third season of ‘Lost’. ABC has denied a request to start the season later and show all 23 episodes back to back, so the producers have come up with a compromise to split the season into 3 acts.

If this happens the third season will start in October instead of September and would be released in three 7-8 episode chunks.

Thanks to Damien for the heads up.

I wouldn’t mind three chunks of lost, I like that idea. Better than a episode a month ;)

Well lets just hope this pulls through.

[…] For all the talk “Lost” generates on this great inter-web, I was amazed at this nifty New York Times graphic which doesn’t even list the show as a top ten from last week? I blame American Idol, but the show’s creators have been lobbying for some scheduling changes. In other news, show executive Damon Lindelof recently stated in this articles that the current batch of shows are the “calm before the storm” he feels. I can’t wait. The non-consecutive episodes drive me nuts. Thanks ABC.

Your previous posts were real rubbish, but this is good. This one is brilliant. Your blog is getting really better.
